Our degree in Design Interactions is taught by leading academics in both the UK and China, drawing on specific areas of expertise such as the development of Chinese high-speed rail, and looking at aspects of design such as user experience, interaction design, service design, design management, urban design, product design and design research
The programme will help you understand how creative organisations can use design to develop strategies, products and services. It will cover visual communication strategies for conceptualising and prototyping ideas for scenarios covering the present, near and far future.
You will learn how design interacts with systems such as production systems, service systems, urban systems and communities. Looking to the future, the programme will also introduce emerging requirements of hybrid physical-digital environments, emerging human practices and new economic models appropriate to design interactions.
You will receive BA (Hons) Design Interactions from Lancaster University and BA Digital Media Arts from Beijing Jiaotong University after you successfully complete this programme.
